Recent Resin

I created this resin picture with a canvas square panel as a base rearranging a conventional 4" x 6" image...like the fact the natural coloured canvas structure can be seen peeping through particularly on the paler sections, makes it appear almost 3D in parts.

Wish-List

Love this dreamy story in the Financial Times (!!) 'how to spend it' magazine, featuring bed linens styled as some sort of couture wear. Looks straight out of the seventies complete with textured wallpaper as a back-drop and the slightly out of focus haziness to it all...♥

My fave image is below with a king size missoni duvet cover fashioned into a skirt! Wants that Missoni!!!

Beads,beads n beads

The bead shelf in all its glory...still room for a few more! This is probably half the amount i have to play with though-as there are bead boxes stuffed full upon the bureau-ones i've picked up upon my travels to france, spain, japan, germany, usa and within beautiful london town!

Some golden half moments

Half-Hearted

My beloved 'golden half' camera hanging in the middle here can be found most days in the depths of my handbag. Stumbled across this beaut in a Tokyo camera shop selling lots of 'superheadz' cameras and lomo bits...went back for the gold Holga the next day! Completed with golden chain strap ala me!! Note both are without their lens cap...both lost upon a festival field somewhere along the way! Shall post some 'golden half' pics to demonstrate why I love...

New and old favourite pieces

These are some of my rings that i personally wear...the newer ones getting chunkier n chunkier by the day! love the amber n golden colours in the foreground. All the teeny flower beads are from Japan...my bead haven!

Current Outlook

The chaos that greets me most days of late at some point...there is a system in place i promise! From what i can make out here there's a mixture of teeny tiny beads, vintage finds and lots i've picked up upon my travels. Most probably the same amount on the floor too...!


And On The Horizon

...A few horizons, flowers, more flowers, jam jars, pictures of lakes, fields, and small japanese children jumping in puddles with umbrellas 5 times their size...and then some more flowers. This is an old bureau my mum got for me.  To which I then placed her adopted old dressing table mirror set on (very old school-still has 80's laura ashley wallpaper lining in the mini drawers!) to use as a base to create my photo patchwork...thought 3 mirrors was reflection enough for one room!

First & Foremost

I love...

butterflies, poppies, chunky rings, glass vases, art deco, thrifty finds, antique coloured roses, jam jars, buttons, world maps, knits, sequins, capturing special moments places and people within-more often than not with my 'golden half', vintage furniture, a good bit o' wood, shining beads, art nouveau, black and white crinkly old photographs, original tiling, metallics, flea markets, over stuffed bookcases, making things beautiful and making beautiful things.
