Wilson's Wonders!

Donna Wilson's children's room at Wool House

This room was just adorable and with hardly a sharp edge in sight! Everything was wooly! Here is a pic of the cloud mobile and mounted animal head, the room was stuffed with curious woolen toy creations and lovely cloud themed touches everywhere.

Somerset Sheeps

Beautiful Somerset House was the setting for Wool House, the Campaign for Wool exhibition showcasing loads of lovely wooly things! Ten rooms packed with amazing examples of what can be fashioned from wool, with artists working on looms and weaving machines. Unfortunately i just shrunk a pair of wool socks n thought perhaps with a bit of stretching they may come back to life, but was in fact informed this is not the case but maybe i can craft them into some wrist-warmers..?! Something to consider...

Wool 'Winged Pendants' by Kate Ramsay

The most amazing section was the interior design part, whole rooms dedicated to the concept of furnishing with wool, my favourite being the Fox Linton drawing room dripping in deep blue tones with beaut 'winged pendant' lights (above) and art work, a woolen base coffee table with a chic glass top finished this room off beautifully. Loooooooove.

Love these bottles by Royal Apothic with their grey atomizers and a lovely delicately drawn map of kensington gardens on the back. Got my mind harking back to a childhood of blowing merely air on my face with an abandoned one in my house,but clearly still thinking I was the height of sophistication!
Would very much actually BE totally sophis if i owned something like this one here below...
