An unusual pair of tights I got to sport the other day... perhaps a hark back to 'make-do & mend' era. Where as my good old Nan tells me stockings were a total luxury and when the boys from the boats came back empty handed a bit of improvisation with some charcoal and a steady hand was called for! ...
